A Hindu man with a goad standing beside a grey cow with skin bags slung across its back, behind left near a house and trees, a man leading another cow, a village with palms by a bay with a few boats and figures; after a drawing by Samuel Daniell in the British Museum collection, from 'A Picturesque Illustration of the Scenery, Animals, and Native Inhabitants of the Island of Ceylon' (London, 1808). 1807. Hand-coloured aquatint.
