Description
A watercolour of Worcester bridge, with the city beyond. Figures on the riverbank in the foreground. This is a pair with RL 17179, of the bridge at Worcester. They are recorded in Farington's diary as having been commissioned by Sir Gregory Page Turner through J. Booth, the bookseller. Both were largely painted by Miss Smirke.
