Description

Subject depicts a single horse drawn sled in winter. In the sled their are two passengers covered in a fur blanket; one passenger is holding the reins and a whip. To either side of the sled are architectural structures. In the background are more structres, along with trees and mountains.
Sotheby's noted this image as being Montreal. Sotheby's inventory indicates the title is written on the verso, but that is not the case.
