View of St. Gingolph in the centre distance, on the edge of Lake Geneva to the right; a church spire rises in the centre above the town; in the left hand foreground is a stone wall with steps on the outside leading up to a door; on the far left is a tall cross on a podium in the water; in the right hand foreground is a sailing boat with a pink awning, a pink flag and two figures in it; mountains in the background to the right. Etching with hand-colouring.
