Portrait of Uyedwana, a Zulu, in visiting dress; Zulu wearing a kilt of wool and feathers, a head-dress with coloured plumes and streamers of wool on his arms and legs, with assegais and white shield (denoting a married soldier of a picked regiment) in his left hand, and a knobbed stick in his right, behind him a calabash at left. 1847.
