Description

Building the New Fleet Sewer; men with pickaxes and shovels digging large square pit in a road, supported by scaffolding, water and gas pipes visible, on the surface, men removing rubble in wheelbarrows and cart. 1825. Watercolour, over graphite, strengthened with gum (?).
