Description

Detached drawing from a manuscript of Aja' ib al-Makhluqat; two bodies lying in a well. Figures appear identical: shaven heads, bare chests, and dressed in white pants. Both figures hold their arms behind their backs, while staring in oppostite directions. Well is surrounded by overlapping rocks, sprouting small shrubs from the cracks. No inscription. Painted in opaque watercolour on paper.
