Description
Portrait of Sir John Borlase Warren, full-length, slightly turned to the left, his feathered hat in his hand, dressed in the robes of the Bath over his embroidered doublet and hose, spurs on his soft boots, a sash about his waist, the Bath star on a chain and a ruff about his neck and a sword at his waist, the Bath star embroidered on his silk cloak, illustration to Naylor's "History of the Coronation of George IV" (1824). Coloured stipple and aquatint.

Lettered below image "P. Stephanoff, del.t" "A Knight Grand Cross, of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath In the full Habit and Collar of that Order. 19th July, 1821." "Eng.d by W.m Bond & W.m Bennett." and "London Published as the Act directs Jany. 1824 by Sir George Naylor, Garter."
