Description

Watercolour mounted on page 55. The river in the foreground flows into a pool, the banks of the pool have been reinforced with stones, bricks and wooden pilings. Two men are sat on the river bank, one of them is holding a pole, a dog sits next to the men and is looking into the water. Inscriptions: [on image bottom left] "Nov 1." / [on mount bottom left] "In Fordington Mead" / [on mount bottom middle] "Trees destroyed" / [on mount bottom right] "Sketch".
