Description

Opaque watercolour painting on mica of a plant of the family Cucurbitaceae (one of the edible gourds/squashes). The plant has a twisted stem which has numerous thinner stems growing off it. Lobed dark green leaves also grow off the main stem. Two white flowers, not yet in bloom and three fruits, one green and two red are also shown growing from the main stem. The plant is depicted against a low buff foreground and uncoloured background.
