Description

A large crowd gathered on a plain to watch fireworks and a bonfire, with barrels on a long vertical pole in the centre and a scaffold around it. Soft-ground etching printed in colour.

Lettered within the image with the title, and "Drawn Etched & Published by J.S. Cotman."; annotated in pencil on the recto "P 30"
