Description

Depicting Dinan from an unexpected angle, Yeames presents the turrets, mansard roofs, and towering chimney-stacks of a French provincial town. Combined with ivy-clad ramparts crenellated by pots of geraniums the subject is secondary to the rich pattern of shapes and colours.
