A view of a valley surrounded by hills. The land is dotted with harakeke plants that are seeding. Possibly part of the farmstead belonging to the family of Captain Francis Hayter, who married Huddleston's sister Eugenie

One of two drawings of the general valley area, the other being A-468-013, which also shows a farmhouse and fencing in place
