Description

Fixed to the reverse of the frame, a line engraving of a similar view, with the following inscription: "Captain D. Roberts RN. Delt. Villa Magni, Shelley's residence on the gulf of Spezzia AD 1822 with the Boat (the Don Juan) in which he was wrecked." [the same boat appears in the watercolour].
