Description

A horizontal bird-trap on the dunes, from an album of 102 drawings; a couple with a boy at right foreground, two men behind shrubbery at left holding ropes from the nets, two box cages on the far side and a flock of birds descending, The Hague on the horizon. Watercolour with bodycolour, over black chalk, heightened with silver and gold.
