Description

Château de Blois, two studies: the upper with north wing of the chateau seen from the courtyard and showing the monumental spiral staircase, the lower study showing at right the elevation of the red-bricked Louis XII wing, and at left the small side of the same wing with a side view of St. Calais's chapel. Pen and black ink with grey wash and watercolour; on vellum.
