Description

Image depicting two men sitting in a clearing at the foot of the cliff on Goat Island, Niagara. A view of the Horseshoe Falls is revealed beyond a barrier of coniferous and deciduous trees.
An old backing is kept loose under the hinged mount. Inscriptions on it read: "J.P.C. / Horse shoe falls from Goat Island."
