Description

Watercolour painting on paper of a female standing in a formal garden. She wears a purple sari with a transparent golden shawl draped over her shoulders and head. She holds a large lotus flower in her right hand and is lavishly adorned with jewellery. On either side of her stand an attendant female who raise their hands in anjali mudra. They also wear saris which cover their heads and shoulders. The women stand in a formal garden laid out with beds and enclosed in a wall. The painting is surrounded by a black border.
