Description
Six landscapes in Italy with accompanying cover to the set; comprising 1) Ruins of Domitian's Villa, at Castel Godolpho, 2) An Italian Villa, situated in Mount Pausilippo, 3) View from the Banks of the Tiber, 4) View in Rome, taken from the road leading to the convent of St. Pietro Montorio, 5) View of an Italina Villa in the Environs of Florence, with Part of the City and 6) Subterraneous Entrance into Mæcena's Villam situated in the Vicinity of Tivoli. 1802. Hand-coloured aquatint and etching.

Lettered on each print with production detail: "R. Freebairn Pinxt.", "I. Hill fecit" and publication line: "London, Publish'd by R. Freebairn, No. 41 Newman Street, 1806", the plates numbered at right; the cover lettered with series title, titles of individual plates (as described) and "Printed by J, Barfield, Wardour-Street, Printer to His Royal Highness the Prince Regent"; priced in pencil £2.10 set, 10/- each
