Description
The Abbey Church of St. Ouen at Rouen; a gothic cathedral with a square central tower with four pinnacles around the smaller upper section, flying buttresses from the nave, pinnacles and a row of octagonal spires above the aisle, seen across a garden with a fountain in a pond in the centre, flower beds to either side, a large house meeting the church to right and a few figures in the garden. Hand-coloured etching and aquatint, mounted on heavy card.

Annotated in ink on the verso of the mount 'The exterior of St Ouen at Rouen'; with a label pasted below, painted yellow and lettered 'R. Ackermann's Repository of Arts, 101, Strand, London'
