Caption: "View of castle Point from west[war]d through which the compleat opening made by the sea appears the remaining vestiges of early entrenchments accross this narrow headland probably mask the origin of its name . The hollows & deep caverns of this remarkable spot are not unfrequently by the country people called the cauldrons"
