Description

This drawing of Lismore Parish Church, Argyll, from the south-west, dates from September 1820 but is unsigned. The drawing shows a south-west view of the parish church of Lismore, set among trees and graves, with the hills of the island of Lismore rising behind it. This is the only drawing of Lismore in the Hutton Collection. The origins of the parish church of Lismore are among the earliest of any church in Scotland.
