Description

The Ramazan in the mosque of Top-Hane, Istanbul; steps leading to temple, figure kneeling in prayer under a lamp inside, three figures on steps at left and a man wearing a turban at right all looking through the doorway, four boys running in the foreground, a man at right carrying a tray on his head, and steps (?) under one arm. Pen and brown ink, with brown wash, and watercolour, over graphite.
