Description

Very scenic view of the James River and surrounding countryside. The perspective is from a road coming down off of a mountain and includes trees and foliage. The ferry with people aboard is at the near shoreline. A large building is situated on the shore near the ferry and people other than those on the boat are also in view. Mountains are visible in the distance. Part of a bound volume. Support is glued to mount at top two corners but has torn from mount at bottom corners. The watercolour support was glued to a pencil drawing that is partially adhered to the back.
