Description

Image depicting a view of the Horseshoe Falls at Niagara seen through a wooded foreground. Two people lean over a large tree root to get a better glance at the bottom of the falls.
An old backing is kept underneath the newer hinged mount. It has browned but the inscription in the lower right-hand corner is still very legible: "J.P.C. / Horse Shoe Fall from Goat Island"
