Description

Group of Jewellery:Gold plate decorated with a figure of Hercules between Nereids riding sea-horses; front and back view. Figure of Eros holding a vessel. Figure of Eros (?) holding a vessel. Part of a gold ear-ring: disc with a vase-shaped pendant of dark glass paste with gold caps. Gold ear-ring: oval gold plate, depicting the bust of Didius Julianus, with a pearl below; two views: one actual size and one enlarged. Pendant: part of a gold necklace comprising four gold beads. Gold ear-ring in the form of Eros holding a syrinx. Figure of Harpokrates. Bronze finger-ring in the form of a serpent. Gold ear-ring: Eros holding an alabastron and a phiale. Gold necklace with green glass beads and four garnets, and a pendant with two sapphires. Gold pendant from an ear-ring in the form of Eros holding a phiale and an oinochoe. Silver buckle: ring terminating in heads of lions. Gold ring tapering towards ends; overlapping and twisted round each other to form a join. Gold hair-spiral (?), composed of a plain tube, the ends of which are decorated with a pattern in filigree. Pen and ink and watercolour.
