Description

A watercolour showing a view of men working on a plaster cast of a male figure. A nude male figure is shown in the centre. He is kneeling and holding a shield up above his head with one hand and holding an arrow in the other. He is covered in plaster, which is being applied by male figures to either side. A further male figure, probably John Campbell, Marquis of Lorne, is shown seated on a high seat behind. He is wearing a large fur trimmed coat and fur hat.
