Description

Inscribed: "LesiesKog - Lesjevaerk. Holseth, Station where we slept night of Aug 11".
This watercolour/drawing forms part of a small black leather pocket sized sketchbook with retaining strap. There are 64 pages, several are blank. Inside the first page is the description ‘First visit to Norway July & August 1890’. The pencil sketches are in the form of an illustrated diary.
