Description
View of St. Paul's Churchyard with the cathedral to right; Nelson's hearse drawn by six horses in the foreground with carriages on either side; mounted and foot soldiers flanking the procession and sailors carrying large flags on the right. Vast crowds on the cathedral steps, within the churchyard and at every window and rooftop. The sign of Newbery's "Medicine Warehouse" legible over the door of the shop to left. 1 April 1806. Etching and aquatint, hand-coloured.
