Description
Hyde park with a long line of columns of soldiers standing to attention on the right, others marching in line forming a column on the left and pairs of horses passing from left to right in the foreground; with crowds watching from among the trees; after Smirke. 1801. Etching and aquatint with hand-colouring on two conjoined sheets of paper.

Lettered below the image with the title and a dedication to the King from the publishers "Drawn & Etch'd by Robt Smirke Junr. Aqua-tinta by R Earlom Pub. June 4. 1801, by J. & J. Boydell, No. 90, Cheapside; and at the Shakspeare Gallery, Pall Mall, London."
