Effigy of a De L'Isle in Rampton Church, Cambridgeshire, study for plate 20 of Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Mrs Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; whole-length, figure in armour, to front, holding scabbard and sword's hilt, a lion underfoot, also further studies, including one of the same figure, with coat of arms on surcoat and shield, and others of costume and pillow design details. 1812. Pen and grey ink and graphite, with grey wash and watercolour.
