Mounted on page 23. Two women washing clothes in a pool in a forest clearing. The pool is in the foreground and the women are to the right of the image. One woman is kneeling and is beating her washing on a washboard, the other woman is standing holding her washing. Inscriptions: [on image bottom left] "June 16" / [on mount bottom left] "In the Forest of Marly" / [on mount bottom right] "Sketch".
