Description

Sir Paul Pindar’s house was a timber framed house which stood on Bishopsgate Street in London from 1599 till 1890. Its ornate façade was a rare example of early 16th century architecture which survived the great fire of London. When the original building was demolished to make way for an expansion to Liverpool Street Station, the façade was preserved and moved to the V&A museum.
