Also known as: 'Steep Holm, Weston'. Signed W A Frank lower right. Not dated. Depicts three men in a rowing boat in the foreground, with a three-masted ship and another sailing boat against the background of Steep Holm Island, and two more ships in the distance. The title is written verso on the external backing board. On the painting itself is written (verso) "'Steep Holm. Weston' by W Frank £4-4-0". Also "Steep Holm, Weston" in another hand in pencil.
