Description

One of 141 drawings in an album of plants, whose names had been registered by a Society of Gardeners at monthly meetings held from c.1723 onwards, bound in red leather with gold tooling and lettering. Frontispiece to 'Catalogus Plantarum'. Watercolour and bodycolour, touched with white, with pen and brown ink.
