Plate 7: a pillory scene in the countryside, with one man seated, his legs in stocks, another man behind him, possibly also pilloried, visited by a beadle in official attire holding his staff of office standing next to a wooden sign-post to right with an stone at its base inscribed: "XII / Smith" and to left, at a lower level near a road or path (?) a woman near a cottage; in the distance a fortified building, trees and hills. 1829. Hand-coloured lithograph.

Lettered above image with plate number "No. 7." and below image with title and production and publication details: "Henry Monnier", "Lith. de Villain." and "Publié à Paris par Firmin-Didot et Lami-Denozan, Libraires" and "London published 1829 by Colnaghi son & Co. No. 11, Pall-Mall-East."
