Description

Nawab Nasir ud-Daulah; single-page painting on a detached album folio. Nawab Nasir ud-Daulah is here potrayed at a terrace window, heavily bejewelled with multiple strings of pearls, two golden 'bazuband' (arm bracelet) and a golden turban ornament with drooping emeralds. The portrait is framed by a red border with oval design. Inscribed. Ink, opaque watercolour and gold on paper.
