Description

William Fitzsimmons, 1744-1819, was minister at the Episcopal Chapel in Edinburgh. In 1799 he was tried by the High Court of Justiciary for aiding the escape of four French prisoners from Edinburgh Castle. He was sentenced to three months imprisonment.
