Description
Title "Admiral Sir Philip Charles Henderson Calderwood Durham". b. 1763 d. 1845, served in AWI and French Wars, "one of the luckiest men in the Royal Navy", served at Trafalgar, 1810 made Rear Admiral, 1819 Vice Admiral, 1830 full Admiral, off active list after serving as CinC Portsmouth 1836-1839.
