Description

A note, underneath the title of this south-east aspect of Bishop Dunbar's Hospital, Aberdeen, explains: 'from a drawing in the prospection of Prof Ogilvie, King's Col. which he caused to be made previous to the taking down the building, a few years ago, 1796.’ This is one of a number of drawings of ecclesiastical and historic sites in Aberdeen contained in the Hutton Collection. Bishop Dunbar's Hospital in Old Aberdeen was demolished in the eighteenth century.
