Tangier from the sea; view looking S towards the city and fortifications, including York Castle, the Upper Castle and Governor's House, and Peterborough Tower, on the left the mole jutting out into the sea, on the extreme right the settlement of Whitby with Charles Fort on the hill above it, in the foreground an English two-decker on the left and a ketch on the right, flying the red ensign; formerly in the 1637 album containing 279 miscellaneous drawings. c.1669. Pen and brown ink, with watercolour; on five conjoined slips of paper.
