Description

Engraving on paper. Illustration commissioned by William Roxburgh. ROX674. In his 'Flora indica' Roxburgh describes this plant as a tree, larger than 'K. calycina' and native of the Circar mountains. It flowers during the rainy season. He also notes that the marks of specific distinction, between this species and the 'calycina', are mainly in the exterior calyx, filaments and pistillum.
