Two images on a single plate of two standing soldiers, at left turned to left with his sword held out and down in his right hand, a castle in the background, at right in profile to left, holding bayonet upright before him, camp in the background; after Edward Dayes. 1792. Hand-colouring over etched outlines, the faces in stipple.

Lettered with title, production detail: "Drawn by E.Dayes Draughtsman to H.R.H. the Duke of York", "Engraved by C. H. Hodges" and publication line: "London Publishd Decr. 1st. 1792 by Capt. Hewgill of the Coldstream Regt of Guards, & Sold by John & Josiah Boydell, Cheapside, and at the Shakespeare Gallery, Pall Mall"
