Studies of details from the monumental effigy of Sir Hugh Calvely, or Calverley or Calveley, of Lea (in Cheshire), in Bunbury Church, Cheshire, for items 1 to 4 on plate 99 of Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Mrs Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; portion of the wreath on the basinet, ornament on the basinet's rim, with lace of camail, part of girdle, sword-chain and part of scabbard, mails of hauberk and camail, and part of the greave, solerette, spur and ornamented strap. 1813.
