Description

1 drawing : ink brush and watercolor over graphite underdrawing. | Drawing shows a small village and church near the Almannagjá or Almanna Gorge in Iceland. Almanna Gorge was where Iceland's Althing or Parliment traditionally met. Taylor visited Iceland in 1862, perhaps en route to Russia.
