Two images on a single plate of two standing soldiers, At left with right arm outstretched and holding bayonet upright as it rests on the ground, at right holding his bayonet upright against his body, a pack with royal insignia lying beside his feet; landscapes behind both; after Edward Dayes. 1792. Hand-colouring over etched outlines, the faces in stipple.

Lettered with title, production detail: "Drawn by E.Dayes Draughtsman to H.R.H. the Duke of York", "Engraved by T.Kirk" and publication line: "Published Feb. 1st. 1792 by Capt. Hewgill of the Coldstream Regt of Guards, & Sold by John & Josiah Boydell, Cheapside, & at the Shakespeare Gallery, Pall Mall"
