Description

Plate 10 in volume II: prayers and pilgrims in a corridor with a gothic-arched roof: some in front of a niche behind a pillar in the right foreground, others in front of an altar at the end of the corridor in the left background; after Mayer; published state. 1803. Hand-coloured aquatint with etching.

Inscription

Lettered below image with title in English and French, artist's name and publication line: "L. Mayer del. / Published by R. Bowyer, Historic Gallery, Pall Mall, 1803."
