Description

View of the Indian Store Depots. The building known as the East Indian Military Stores, built in 1861-1862 on land south of College Street in Lambeth, was leased from Jesus College to the Secretary of State for India. The building was subsequently extended but received severe bomb damage in World War II and was demolished during clearance for the Festival of Britain.
