Description

View from the river of part of the new London Bridge on the day it was opened, showing the pavilion erected on the bridge for the ceremony; in foreground ceremonial barges and other boats full of spectators; beneath the arches of the bridge can be seen parts of old London Bridge; the Monument and St. Magnus rising beyond. 1831. Lithograph with hand-colouring.
