View on Islington Green, opposite the Painted Red Lion Inn; a crowd of figures gather on the green looking up at the sky where a large inflated Guy Fawkes floats past, known as the "Aerial Giant"; two children sit with a large leaflet on the "Aerial Giant" in the right foreground; beyond the green to the left the "Cork Manufactory" and "Marshall's Dairy", with the church spire behind. 1840.
